In 1995, a young civil engineer had a dream to start his own enterprise. Having gathered experience at renowned construction houses under the guidance of prominent builders, Vilas Gawade established the Gawade Construction Company in 1995. Within a year he was joined by Harishchandra Kalbhor. Together they made a name for the company as a reliable and quality player in the realm of residential and industrial complexes, as well as corporate offices and bungalows.

Upon successfully completing a decade in the business, the group entered in contracting & industrial construction activity and the group has awards and recognition in this field in a very short span of time. Today, in less than 20 years, the Gawade name has become a force to be reckoned with and already shows promise of leapfrogging into the future to be counted among Pune's reputed construction houses.

Besides the expertise in developing real estate, Gawade Constructions has also forayed into the earth moving business. Very soon the company was leasing its tower cranes to builders across India, gaining more confidence as well as a reputation as a robust partner.
