SKIL Group comprising of Infrastructure, Hospitality and Power was incorporated in the year 2006, but has its roots from years before. It was in the year 1993, Sainath Estates Private Limited (SEPL) was founded by Shri K. Prem Sagar Rao in Hyderabad, A.P. India.

Shortly thereafter he founded Bhagyanagar Hotels Private Limited (BHPL) with its first project being the prestigious Chiraan Fort Club. In an endeavor to create awareness about the need to conserve and preserve heritage structures, the Indian National Trust for Art and Culture Heritage (INTACH) Award is presented. Having made a mark with Chiraan Fort Club, the HUDA INTACH Award was presented to Shri K. Prem Sagar, Chairman of SKIL Group by his Excellency Shri C. Rangarajan, Governor of Andhra Pradesh in the year 1997.
